I wanted to have my children's birthstones in a piece of jewelry, but since we are still planning to have 4 kids, didn't want to do anything too permanent that I couldn't add to later on if need be. Decided these birthstone beads would be perfect. March, October, and January, with one silver one with a "diamond" for De in the middle (April being the best month in the world for us...when we started dating and our anniversary).
