4 month check up
13 pounds 10.5 oz [50th percentile]
24 1/4 inches [50th percentile]
16" head circ.
She was about the 25th percentile at the 2 month visit, so they are happy with her progress. Good old weight-gainer, as De calls formula...

Charlie's first harley ride
Oh, My, Goodness. Charlie loved his first Harley-Davidson motorcycle
ride! He kept saying he wanted to ride around on our street again. And
he would call out to me down the street, "Hi Mom!"
Papou was here and didn't ride, but the boys loved his antics :)

4 months
Lillian loves to watch what is going on. She smiles when she sees her family and smiles when others smile at her. She still loves to gnaw on her hands and is getting better and more consistent with napping during the day (usually three 1 hour + naps) and sleeping at night (in five hour stretches)!
chores
Drying cloth diapers requires more than one cycle in the dryer, so for the second drying, they go on the deck, on the clothes rack... I just can't see running the dryer, heating up the house while the air conditioning is running.
Some days I have some helpers :)

three months old
Lillian loves to suck on her hands, smile at her brothers antics, be held, and is starting to sleep on her own in her room.
digging
Our boys love dirt. Wait, our boys LOVE DIRT!
The boys were thrilled to be allowed to help these men dig in our neighbors' yard... their electricity was out in half of their house... weird.
They shared their snacks, kept the men smiling with their conversations, got to be in the hole, put the dirt back in the hole, and were each paid a quarter. Thrilling day!
Lillian and Mommy stayed inside most of the time, watching from the window.

clothing dividers
Newborn-to-Size-10-Clothing-Dividers
Made these up today, will try them out and post photos of them in use.
I used a circle punch (from my scrap booking stuff) to make perfect circles in the top section of each card. Then I cut through from the right side to the center of each circle. they hang beautifully, will really help divide up the clothes, and are a perfect, quick solution to something I've been debating in my head for a while.

for child care
Since I nurse and bottle feed, we needed a solution for child care providers to know exactly what Lillian needs. I made up this little form, laminated it, and hope that it will help with the confusion of what Lillian needs when (especially in the church nursery).
