We went to Brookside Gardens in April and Kaylee and Billy were walking together for a section of the path to the pond. I was able to snap a few photos. We also discovered a bird's nest in one of the trees.
We also found this huge Sycamore tree at Brookside which they believe was struck by lightning 30-40 years ago (allowing decay organisms to work on hollowing out the tree). Arborists claim the tree is about 125 years old. Emily and I thought it was pretty
cool for all those reasons, and the kids just liked going through the "tunnel".
