We were going to the Eastern Shore where De spent most of the summer with grandparents when he was growing up. We spent the day with his family and then went on a walk around the property. De proposed to me out by the lake, telling me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and didn't want to wait any longer. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him; I said yes.
Later on that night we had dinner with his friend Mike and his wife Taunya. They took our engagement picture.
